Cambodia's endangered national animal is the Kouprey. Its name means Forest Ox, and it has long horns. Females live in herds of 20, led by a female, but allow males to join during dry season. Older males live in bachelor herds. The Kouprey hasn't been seen in Cambodia since 1988.
