This collection features intricate lace, floral, and snowflake patterns built using a complex artisan clay caning technique. Rather than being painted or printed, the designs are created by meticulously cutting, shaping, and assembling solid white clay inside a base of premium translucent polymer clay. This large art cylinder is then stretched down to a miniature size, cleanly sliced, and carefully baked to perfection. Once baked, the translucent clay transforms into a semi-clear background, allowing the light to pass through and beautifully highlight the delicate white lace details inside. Because they are handmade, every single pair features its own unique layout.
